A story of love

In a land of love and magical sights,

Let’s embark on a tale of love’s different lights.

There once was a man and a woman, you see,

Each had their own way of what love could be.

The man believed love was filled with desire,

Passion and gifts that would never tire.

He thought it meant making a good impression,

With efforts and presents to show his affection.

But the woman saw through those masks,

Greed and dependency, her heart unasks.

She knew that passions may come and go,

Not a reliable proof of love’s sweet glow

One day, the man felt insecurity’s sting,

He asked the woman, “Do you truly love me, darling?”

She replied, “My love for you is like the air,

It’s like my love for everything, beyond compare.”

She explained that her love had no boundaries or walls,

It encompassed everything, big and small.

Her love was like sunshine, spreading far and wide,

Touching all the things that stood by her side.

The man, his heart heavy with sorrow and doubt,

Asked the woman, “What about us? Can love’s flame stay lit throughout?”

“What guarantees that you’ll always be by my side?”

He searched for reassurance, a love that would forever abide..

The woman, with a tender gaze, met his eyes,

And spoke with a truth that couldn’t disguise.

“Destiny and life force brought us together, my dear,

And if we’re apart, it’s destiny’s path we must adhere.”

The man grew sad, thinking love had a measure,

That the woman’s love for him held no treasure.

He became despondent, feeling torn apart,

Thinking the woman’s love lacked a special part.

Her words struck the man, sadness filled his soul,

He yearned for something more, for love to console.

But the woman, wise and kind, knew what was best,

To free him from confines, to let his heart rest.

She didn’t sugarcoat with false beliefs or lies,

Instead, she wanted him to see through the skies.

To break free from constraints, from fear’s tight hold,

And let love’s wings unfurl, as their story unfolds.

The man, in despair, felt love slipping away,

Thinking the woman made no effort, come what may.

Unaware that what she cut off were the chains he wore,

Not love’s wings, but the constraints he bore.

The woman, with gentle wisdom in her eyes,

Knew her answer have cause the man’s heart to sigh.

But she understood the importance, the need,

To break his hard shell and help his true self be freed.

With a heavy heart, she spoke with care,

Knowing the pain her words would bear.

“My love,” she said, “I must be sincere,

It’s time to let go of the mask you wear.”

In his despair, he failed to see the truth,

That love flourishes when it’s not confined, uncouth.

The woman’s love was boundless, pure and true,

Not limited by rules or what society would construe.

In a world of shadows and hidden desires,

Our tale takes a turn, where sadness transpires.

The man, lost in his longing for love’s embrace,

Sought solace in women who sold their grace.

Lonely ladies yearning for affection’s touch,

And wives disappointed in love that meant so much.

But in his search, he found only fleeting connections,

For none truly understood their own reflections.

The man, seeking solace in others’ embrace,

Hoped to find love’s light in a different space.

But with each encounter, his disappointment grew,

For none of them knew their own essence true.

The women, burdened by their own hidden pain,

Sought his assurance, their wounds to feign.

But their hearts were fragile, just like his own,

Seeking reassurance from seeds not yet sown.

Their encounters leave him feeling hollow,

Aching for a love that’s true, not borrowed.

He realizes the key is self-discovery,

To understand his own essence, his own story.

With newfound clarity, he looks within,

Acknowledging his own wounds, his own sin.

His hair turned white, his back aching with pain,

His throat coughing, though no cold did remain.

The man, worn and weary, his heart heavy with pain,

Returned to the woman, his soul filled with shame.

He confessed his betrayal, with tears streaming down,

The woman listened, her eyes filled with a compassionate frown.

She asked him softly, “Why are you still unhappy, my dear?”

His voice trembled as he whispered, his words unclear,

“Because I’ve come to realize, these masks and displays,

The delusions of control, they lead me astray.”

The man continued, his voice now filled with remorse,

“All these people, like me, seeking love as a force,

Using each other as shields, to hide wounds so deep,

Lying with promises, while the pain within them seeps.”

His heart ached for the purity and simplicity he sought,

For a love untainted, with true understanding and thought.

He realized he had mistaken manipulation for love’s embrace,

And now he longed for a connection, with genuine grace.

The woman, with compassion, asked him then,

“What is it that you truly desire, my friend?”

The man, with tears streaming down his face,

Whispered, “I want a love that’s genuine and free from chase.”

The man’s eyes filled with a mixture of pain and surprise,

For he had grown accustomed to his self-made disguise.

But deep down, he knew the woman spoke true,

That it was time to reveal what he always knew.

He let his walls crumble, brick by brick,

Releasing the emotions that made him feel sick.

Vulnerable and raw, he stood before her,

Knowing this was the path to truly endure.

With tears streaming down his face so true,

He whispered, “I’m sorry for hiding from you.

I see now that the shell I wore so tight,

Kept me from living in love’s purest light.”

He longed for a love that stripped away the masks,

A connection that wouldn’t hide behind empty tasks.

He wanted a love that would see him as he truly is,

Accepting his flaws, his wounds, and his abyss.

To his surprise, the woman knew all along,

She even knew how he could go wrong

She tenderly said, “My love has no definition,

It’s not about possession or a competition.”

“It’s a love that is gentle, kind, and true,

It’s the love that I have for everything I do.

No act or betrayal can break its loving embrace,

For my heart holds love in a boundless space.”

The woman’s eyes glistened with a knowing gaze,

As she heard the man’s confession, his heart ablaze.

She softly whispered, “My dear, I understand,

For I, too, once walked upon deceit’s shifting sand.”

Her words carried the weight of her own past,

A time when she wore masks, her true heart masked.

“I see through these masks, not as a saint, you see,

But because I’ve tasted the pain of falsehood, just like thee.”

She shared her story, her journey of transformation,

How she shed her masks, embracing liberation.

Through self-reflection and a desire to be true,

She found the strength to let her genuine self shine through.

The woman, wise and understanding,

Knows that love’s journey is ever-expanding.

She said, “Love cannot be found in others’ eyes,

It starts within, where our true essence lies.”

“For these women, like you, were searching too,

But lost in their pain, they couldn’t see through.

To find true love, we must first look within,

Embrace our own essence, let our healing begin.”

The man listened, his heart slowly mending,

Knowing they both had wounds that needed tending.

For in their journey of growth, they found the way,

To love authentically, each and every day.

No longer seeking possessions or control,

He loved her deeply, with all of his soul.

In her presence, he found peace and tranquility,

A love that bloomed, nurtured in serenity.

So children, remember, love’s path may be unclear,

But trust in its power, let go of the fear.

For sometimes, true love cuts the chains that bind,

Allowing us to soar, our true selves to find.

Don’t look for love to fill your hole,

In the eyes of others, to make you whole,

For deep within your heart, you’ll find,

A love that’s true, always unconfined.

Embrace love’s simplicity, along the way

And cherish the moments, come what may.

For in love’s embrace, we find our true worth,

A love that lasts forever, since our very birth.
